The Asa Ransom House is located at 10529 Main Street in Clarence. Guests can stop in for dinner or tea or stay the night in the charming bed and breakfast. The inn was originally built in 1853 and continues to honor the buildings 19thcentury charm.
Instead of room numbers, each one of the accommodations is named. Stay in the Joseph Ellicott room with its king size bed and view of the gazebo or how about the newly added Country Garden Suite with Jacuzzi tub? Many of the rooms come with fireplaces and other amenities.
Tea is served every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00pm. The traditional afternoon tea includes choice of tea, iced tea, coffee or hot cocoa. Finger sandwiches and fruit scones are included for around $17.00 per person.
The dining room is open Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Fridays and Saturdays reservations begin at 5:00pm. The Asa Ransom House has a seasonal menu that can be found on their website. The restaurant is available to the public as well as guests from the bed and breakfast.
